Why don't we practice our english?

Great idea!!!!

In my company we enjoy "the english friday". When we are in friday we must speak only english, to practise our vocabulary and to lose any sense of shame.

In the beginning was very hard for some people, but now a days is very funny!!!

Hi!!! What's happening with this topic? Is it die? It's a very good idea, we should continue with it, it is a good way to practice the english language. Write correctly is very important too. So, the masters in english could correct the wrong sentences of the other people who, like me, are attemping to improve their english level. Come on!!!

i´ve lear english from movies, its not necesary to go to univ. for learning english...

it does. I know a lot of technical english when it comes to mechanics and engines and all that stuff, as well as computers.

It is great to know another language and English would be on the first place.

I do a lot of travelling and normally get away and find my way around in english only. Even in ES I can do some things in english. Not as much as lets say Holland but still ok for my daily use.

 

I found that people in ES are proud of Spanish and most are not willing to talk to me in english even if they can. I can understand that but english is not my first language as well but its needed to do business together, to buy or sell things.

I'm proud of being Spanish, but i alsom want to learn other languages. I don't get why you should stick to the Spanish with the huge hailstorm that's going on now. We shouldn't be ashamed, It's just another language
