But mor i can say you when you take a picture from the Shock absorber when it is installed. At idle, the low pressure is normal. When you are driving, it have to reach much more. Is it an automatic or a manual? The first S4 with manual and all S4/S6 with automatic and 20VT have no overboost. The pressure is not higher than 0.8 bar when it is original. If the car has overboost, the pressure is in the mid-range bar to about 1.1 to 1.2, in the original condition. Best regards Björn
