Hi guys, I just finished retrofiting MMi 3G Navigation Plus (HDD) in my B8 that previously had Concert. You can follow my project on the swedish forum nordicaudi.com. Just need to upgrade the maps and replace the Radio unit.

Hi Javiii, I have been reading your awesome post about retrofiting MMI 3G Navigation in your B8. I am very impressed with your work. So i decided to perform the same navigation on my A4 B8. One thing that is unclear in your topic is the radio module/amplifier part. Did your car have 10-speaker Audi Sound System? My car has, and by my understanding, the current CAN amplifier in the trunk is to be replaced with the MMI Radio Module which has it's own internal amp. Am i correct? Regards,...

I dont know about your specific codes. But i had some wierd codes when checking with VCDS on my b8. I cleared them an they haven't come back since. Try doing the same.

Javiii nice work. Very impressive. So impressive in fact that i'm doing the same procedure in my A4. However it's still unclear what you did with the amplifier in the trunk. Did you replace it or do you use the internal amp in the radio unit. I assume that you have the 10 speaker system? cheers
