Bueno, yo se algos sobre el invierno En Finlandia tenemos que utilizar a obligatoriamente neumaticos de invierno de diciembre a octubre. En general, es bueno a utilizar neumáticos tachonados sin quattro y con quattro neumáticos de fricción en el invierno de Finlandia (no se si puedes utilizar neumáticos tachonados en España según la legislación...?). Para la nieve son mejores los neumáticos de fricción, pero si tienes que conducir mucho en condiciones heladas, neumáticos tachonados son mejores. Quizás los neumaticos que teneis alli son diferentes de los de Finlandia, pero en mi experiencia estos neumaticos de fricción son buenos: Michelin Maxi-Ice (X-Ice), Nokian RSi, Gislaved Soft Frost2, Continental ContiViking Contact3. Ahora tengo neumáticos tachonados en mi coche, Nokia Hakkapeliitta4. Puedo decir que con esos y quattro tengo demasiado adherencia... Saludos!

I hope it will be as pleasant or even more when I actually arrive there You might be right about what you say about our climate, but I have to say I have been really surprised seeing all those snowy photos from the north of Spain! Might be that it's somewhat colder up here, but perhaps this winter of ours wouldn't be so strange to you after all? Regarding the long distance you mention between Ciudad Real and where you live, I'm sure I will do a lot of traveling around Spain so it might well be I'll visit the region where you live too... Already I have a friend who now is here studying, but in Spain he lives in Pamblona and I'm planning to visit him there during the bull-run festival. Nine days or so of non-stop partying doesn't sound bad at all And as you might know, Finland is a very long country, so I'm used to drive long distances... for example the distance to my late grandparents was 550km from the city I was born in and even more -700km- from where I live now. Car travel is actually one of my favourite things to do. In the summer of 2005 I did a trip around central Europe with a friend, you can see the route and some photos HERE jod**, I can't wait to get my "new" (read=used ) Audi on the road in Spain already! Ahora vivo en Tampere, pero la ciudad en que nacía y pasaba los 22 años primeros es Jyväskylä, el hogar de Neste Rally como sabes, estoy seguro <_< No se qué decir para tí sobre de alojamiento durante el rally... la ciudad es muy muy llenas de turistas de rally, así que tu debes reservar el lugar con tiempo suficiente. Peroooo...... si puedo creo de algun amigo mío en Jyväskylä con espacio en su casa, quizás podría hacer algo para tí, si quieres...? Saludos!

@valdivielso: Parezco es un precio muy bueno! Muy mejor como en Finlandia La suspensión de mi coche es con muelles de Eibach Pro Kit y amortiguadoros de Sachs Race Engineering... creo que Bilstein puede esta más dura!? Quizá debes considerar estabilizadores tambien, Eibach Pro System Plus tiene ellos.

@valdivielso: Gracias Para mí, la suspensión va absolutamente de maravilla. No es demasiado dura para el uso diario, pero para las carreras es muy estable y firme... Puedo recomendarla. El coche baja aproximadamente -30mm. El precio fue de 780e con el descuento, pero si lo compras sin estar en oferta questa 1080e (al menos en Finlandia).

Y aqui el coche mío... Tiene llantas 16" de Borbet, neumatícos Goodyear Eagle, suspensión de Eibach Pro System y estabilizadores de RS4. El motor es V6 2.4, 163cv/230Nm. ¡Saludos!

Since you asked for photos, I thought to show you some more things of my country because it might be strange and unknown for many of you. I like taking photos as a hobby, but because I'm only a hobbyist in the true sense of the word, I hope you'll enjoy these and don't hate me for consuming your bandwidth when you come to read this topic Here we go... a couple more photos from Tampere. In the 1st one you can see a part of the amusement park of Särkänniemi, the second is a famous landmark of Tampere (an old tower for making bullets or something) and the 3rd is just a nice sunset: Then some finnish sceneries. These four images are from Lapland, Ylläs. In the last one you can see me with the skis... though my face remains a mystery, ajajajaj!

My plan is to look for work in the region of Ciudad Real or Madrid, since you can travel fast with the AVE. My field is sound design, recording and stuff related - like tv, movies, radio etc. Already I have seen positions open n Madrid that match my schooling and skills, so I'm positive about it, but if I can't find any work in my own field I don't mind doing something else either. I have my own little company providing sound-services here in Finland, so I will bring my gear along with me to Spain. The thing that causes the most work with this is to learn your language well enough to be able to work, but maybe there is some use for a guy speaking fluent english in your capital at least... @auroraboreal: You are right and wrong Right about that it isn't as bad as you could imagine... or well, not bad at all if you just get yourself to do it - makes you feel like nothing else. But the thing you're wrong about is that the right way to do it would be to go in WITHOUT going to sauna first... but it takes "los c*** grandes", jajajajajaja, and at least with me that ain't the case I always go to sauna first! @fokker: Gracias. I know we have many beautiful things in this country, but so does your country as well. What might seem every-day and ordinary to you, might be something special for me and vice versa. I think the problem with car dealers cheating the customer is universal, but on the other hand one shouldn't automatically take every dealership as a cheater... I have been looking at the selection of F.Tome in Madrid, but also many other places. I browsed through the compra/venta-section of this forum and it seems there are good examples of cars on sale there. So, as this club seems to have a lot of knowledge about Audis (jajajaja, surprise surprise, it being an Audi-club ) and a dedicated hobbyist is usually taking good care of his/her car, I might as well buy my car from someone on this forum! Maybe I'll place an ad to buy one when the time is near... The discounts and benefits for a clubmember seem to be rather nice, so you can count me in as a member when I get there... Meanwhile, I'll look into how to become one :cry1: When I asked for the tuning shop, I could've been more specific about the location: It's of course useful if it's nearby, but for some major upgrade I don't mind if it's on the other side of Spain if it's the best in field. We have one company specialized in VAG-cars in Finland that gathers client-base from all over the country because they do their job properly and really know even the most exotic models thoroughly. So that's what I'm looking for in Spain also. The registration process sounds similar to Finland... I'm asking about it because I was told that you might have to wait even two weeks to get the car. Here you can start using it right away as long as you register it in your name within 1 week or so from the day of the transfer of the ownership. So that's important for me to know as I will propably buy the car immediately when I enter the country. Hasta luego!

La ciudad tiene ~200 000 habitantes y es la tercera más grande del pais.
